Who we are:
We offer a very traditional estate agency service. We have been actively engaged in estate agency for a number of years and understand the challenges that prospective buyers face particularly when deliberating a purchase in a country that is relatively new to foreign investment.
The " newness " of Hungary is in itself a massive appeal to many, rather like Spain 25 years ago. Hungary is embarking on a journey designed to attract foreign investment and all the indications are that they are making a huge success of it. The area around Lake Balaton for example ( where we are concentrating our energies ) is one of the fastest growing areas in Europe for attracting foreign investment and tourism property sales ( source: London Times Newspaper ).
With accession to the
EU signed in Athens in 2003, we find buyers are increasingly more comfortable about buying in Hungary and prices remain a fraction of many areas in the Mediterranean. The economy is becoming more and more stable with inflation targeted at less than 5%. The country is predominantly flat making infrastructure easier and quicker than most other countries of its size. Another major factor for it's popularity is the introduction of low cost airlines like Easy Jet, now flying into Budapest.
What we do:
In the first instance we offer resale property and land in and around the villages on the south / south west shoreline of Lake Balaton, one of the most picturesque and largest lakes in Europe, ( see Lake Balaton for more info ). Property types tend to vary from a ruin for € 20,000 to a 5 bedroom house
for € 250,000. The region is rural, very green with mild winters and hot dry summers ( see Weather ).
We offer as much personal contact as possible. We are not an internet based company we are a people based company. Operating in the UK and Spain with a very active partner on the ground in Kesthely ( a well known town near the south-west shoreline of Lake Balaton ).
As soon as we receive an enquiry over the internet, wherever possible we telephone you, if not we return an email with all the necessary information. We are at hand to offer as much information as we can in order to help you decide whether an inspection trip is required. We would not encourage you to buy without seeing the country and the area first hand. In many cases we would accompany you on your trip, and offer assistance in arranging car hire and hotel booking. From either Vienna or Budapest the journey time is about 2.5 hrs.
